  • The all-new Ford Ranger TDCi boasts the availability of advance 2-stage dual front supplementary-restraint system (SRS) airbags, standard on XLT models, helping to provide head protection in the event of a frontal collision.
  • Superior body construction to reduce crash forces on the vehicle occupants and new raised door height for added safety.
  • Centre high mounted stop lamp to ensure maximum visibility and safety.
  • Superior braking with 4-wheel ABS with electronic brakeforce distribution (EBD)
    and Brake Assist.
  • A load sensing proportioning brake valve is used to control rear braking pressure to improve braking effectiveness under various road conditions.
  • Height adjustable seatbelt pre-tensioners and load limiter seatbelt system to help ensure optimum seatbelt performance.

This design results in greater rigidity than the usual
H-beam or open-beam configurations, contributing to improved handling, ride, load-carrying, durability, as well as safety.
  • The suspension system is further improved by using longer leaf springs and oversized shock absorbers to handle tougher loads while maximising ride comfort.
  • A load-sensing proportioning valve is used to control rear brake pressure to improve braking effectiveness under various load conditions.
