Sime Darby Auto ConneXion Sdn Bhd’s aggressive revitalisation of the Ford brand paid off handsomely when it was awarded ‘Best Comeback Brand’ at the 2009 Asian Auto–VCA Auto Industry Award recently. Ford was applauded for introducing a constant stream of new and better products at competitive prices and living up to its promise to deliver a better ownership experience to customers by launching innovative aftersales campaigns and refurbishing its showrooms. This year has seen the launch of the new Focus hatchback and sedan in February, new Ranger 4X4 pick up in April and new Escape SUV in June. In the pipeline are the new Everest seven-seater SUV, the Mondeo sedan and the S-Max MPV.
