ECOBOOST-POWERFUL AND EFFICIENT

The family of 4-cylinder and 6-cylinder engines uses gasoline turbocharged direct-injection technology to deliver up to 20 percent better fuel economy and superior driving performance versus larger displacement engines while generating up to 15 percent fewer CO2 emissions. Ford is committed to making this cutting-edge technology widely available, as soon as possible, in its passenger cars in Malaysia.

FUEL EFFICIENT FIESTA

The all-new Ford Fiesta is equipped with a Ti-VCT engine that allows maximum fuel economy and cleaner emissions while providing top-notch performance with stunning results. The Ti-VCT engine consumes just 5.9 L/100 km (1.6 L Auto model) while the 1.4L Manual runs at 5.7 L/100 km. In addition to offering better acceleration, emissions are reduced.

TDCi TECHNOLOGY

Ford TDCi engines take full advantage of the latest advances in environmentally friendly diesel fuels while delivering exceptional class-leading performance and responsiveness. In the Ford Focus TDCi this results in an impressive 5.8 litres/100 km. Other models benefiting from TDCi power are the Ford Ranger and Ford Everest which are also biodiesel compatible.

POWERSHIFT

A breakthrough in small car engineering, PowerShift six-speed transmission is found in the Ford Fiesta, Ford Focus TDCi and Ford Mondeo, helps reduce fuel consumption by up to 6 percent compared to traditional automatic four-speed transmissions. What's more, drivers will enjoy superior shift quality, launch feel and overall driving dynamics.
